Renal Services at Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust are expanding with opportunities across our Haemodialysis Service and we want you!
We have opportunities within Ward H3 which is Acute Renal Hub for Greater Manchester West & within Haemodialysis Services based at Salford, Bolton & Wigan.
This expansion means an increase in staffing across our dialysis service at Band 5 and we are seeking Registered Nurses both experienced, new to renal and newly qualified to join us and our growing multi-disciplinary teams.
Registered or Student Nurses wanting to take your career to the next level in Renal this is the place for you. You will gain a wealth of knowledge and highly transferable skills from exposure to a variety of Renal conditions, supporting lifelong treatment pathways designed to ensure maximum independence and minimal disruption to patient independence and quality of life such as management of the acutely unwell adult, Haemodialysis, Peritoneal Dialysis, Home Dialysis, Venepuncture, Canulation, Blood Cultures, Intermediate Life Support, Chronic Kidney Disease, Vascular Access & Transplant.
Main duties of the job
Registered Nurses working within our services have progressed to higher banded roles within the service including within Specialist Nursing roles and Advanced Practitioner roles as we are passionate to support and grow our workforce to maximize potential to benefit Patients, Staff and the wider Service.

- A Unit based, experienced MDT to provide a fully holistic approach to patient care.
- Specialist Renal Education Programmes for all new starters and advanced programmes once experienced.
- Flexibility - Full and part time contracts are available with a range of shifts covering earlies, lates, twilights and nights.
- Rotations - if you want the chance to spread your wings beyond Dialysis and get some acute renal experience, we will work through how we can support this with you and other teams across our Directorate.
