An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, forward thinking, highly motivated, dynamic, experienced, and dedicated Physiotherapist to join our established innovative, Community-based Adult Physiotherapy Team in Bury.
You will be joining a well-established and supportive team, where person-centred care is at the forefront of everything that we do. As a Band 7 Physiotherapist working for The Community Adult Physiotherapy Team, you'll play a vital role in our team of experienced Physiotherapists; managing a complex caseload of adult patients who have a physical disability in the community. The team receive referrals from a range of pathways including Orthopaedics, Neurology, Palliative Care, MSK, Falls, and Learning disabilities.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical care and clinical leadership to the Physiotherapist and Physiotherapy assistants in the team, ensuring all work is needs led, evidence based and in line with current legislation.

Main duties of the job
Main Tasks & Overview of Responsibilities
To work autonomously within the Trust policy and professional practice and maintain accurate and comprehensive up to date records.To perform specialist assessment and treatment of patients within the speciality who will have complex and/or acute or chronic conditions.To determine a clinical diagnosis, develop, deliver, implement, evaluate and modify individualised treatment programmes, ensuring appropriate pathways of care and communication via liaison and referral to other agencies as required.To take a major role in assisting the O&P Lead in the clinical governance action plans and in the planning, co-ordinating, delivery and evaluation of the Physiotherapy services within the speciality.To comply with statutory requirements for Physiotherapy, within the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and HCPC standards and codes of professional conduct.To educate and train physiotherapists and other qualified and non-qualified healthcare staff up to and including medical staff.Job Title: Physiotherapy Team LeaderBand: 7Reports to: Operational and Professional Physiotherapy leadResponsible to: Operational and Professional Physiotherapy leadBase/Department: PhysiotherapyTo deputise for the O&P lead when required.Supervision through peer support and is largely self driven.To work as a lone practitioner in a community setting without the support of physiotherapy colleagues.
