Job summary

We are looking for an outstanding individual to join us as the Divisional Director of Nursing at Salford Royal Care Organisation, providing high level professional, strategic and operational leadership.

The role offers an exciting and challenging opportunity for a senior nurse to develop their career with the guidance and support of a strong, patient focused senior leadership team. The role will form part of the leadership team for The Integrated Care Division, and will have a primary focus on the Care Organisation's Community services, with a strong link into Adult Social Care services provided by Salford Care Organisation. The successful candidate will have a pivotal role in the further development and integration of Community Services and Adult Social Care at a time of significant transformation within the service.

You will be a Registered Nurse, educated to Master's degree level or equivalent and provide evidence of continuing professional development. You will be highly motivated, imaginative operational and clinical leader who will help shape, develop and enhance our Care Organisation.

You will embody our values, have a passion for operational delivery, a passion for patient care and have excellent business acumen. A proven track record of innovation and success in senior operational and clinical management roles is essential, including high levels of engagement with staff and external partners.

Main duties of the job

The DDN will be responsible for the implementation of Quality Improvement Strategy and for improving safety along with establishing assurance and governance arrangements. The DDN, in partnership with the Managing Director and Chair of Division will be held formally to account for all aspects of divisional performance.
