Job summary

We are looking for a Project Manager with excellent project & people management skills who can support the day-to day project management of the Advancing Quality (AQ) & Evaluation & Analytics Programmes.

The AQ programme is a fast-paced improvement programme, that aims to reduce unwarranted clinical variation in patient care across 25 acute trusts. Project management support is needed to deliver events, produce reports, & engage with wide ranging stakeholders. The Evaluation & Analytics Programme delivers a combination of external consultancy contracts & provides an internal business intelligence function within Aqua. Working in a small team of specialists you'll get the opportunity to collaborate on diverse and agile programmes of work aimed at delivering impact for our members and customers across a range of sectors.

The AQ element of this role will account for approximately 3 days per week & the Evaluation & Analytics work will account for approximately 2; however, this will flex depending on business need.

The postholder must be highly personable, confident, a good team player & have extensive project management experience & willing to interface with numerous external stakeholders & teams across Aqua, strategic partners & clinical leads. The work is diverse & fast-paced, so the postholder must be adaptable, able to co-ordinate several strands of work simultaneously & deliver on time to a high standard.

Main duties of the job

The main duties of the role include:

o Managing and tracking the delivery of projects using advanced organisational and programme management skillso Communicating effectively with all types of stakeholders (For example, exec level to front line, internal Aqua teams, AQ providers and suppliers to deliver projects.o Inspiring, leading, and mobilising others to drive improvement.o Manage multiple projects including webinars, reports, the creation of AQ materials and a communication strategy.o Flexibly project manage and support with varying projects according to business need

  • Project management qualification or equivalent experience

  • At least 2 years' experience in a project management role providing a wide spectrum. of project management duties
  • Experience of working with financial systems and knowledge of budget management
  • Experience in use of interactive technology and virtual platforms, e.g., Teams, Zoom, Miro
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a clear, concise and effective manner with a wide range of external and internal stakeholders
  • Use of initiative and judgement in difficult or complex situations
  • Able to plan and organise a range of complex activities and programmes
  • Able to produce high quality work to tight timescales and able to meet specific deadlines to quality which are set by the Project Executive/Project Team
