The Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (NNUHFT) Digital Health team is responsible for the delivery of digital services across the Trust to support its clinical and administrative obligations.
The Department comprises 4 main areas: - Digital Hospital, Operational, Informatics and Information Governance and is made up of over 100+ staff. Our aims are to provide the highest degree of digital services and support to Trust staff, partners, and commissioners.
These services are undertaken through the provision of high-quality digital services to customers throughout the trust, this helps ensure that the best patient care is always available, and that staff productivity is maintained.
The Application Support & Training team form part of the Operational arm, working with the Service Delivery team to provide excellent service and support for Trust colleagues. The successful candidate will join a busy team of 5 Application Support Specialists & 2 Digital Health Trainer & Application support colleagues delivering digital training services to the Trust.

Main duties of the job
You will be required to design and deliver training courses for Digital Health Applications. Training may be delivered remotely to learners via MS Teams or face to face in a classroom session. You will also be responsible for liaising with line managers to determine training requirements for new starters and to arrange this using our Training Management System.
Training will be primarily focused on the Trust Patient Administration System (PAS), although there may be a requirement to provide training on Microsoft Office Products, or other Trust Applications.
You will work with the Application Support Specialists and the team Manager to assist in tasks such as PAS account creation and dealing with Service desk tickets and there will be a need to author and update e-learning courses using Articulate 360 software.
You will need to be a team player with bags of drive, enthusiasm and positivity, as well as someone who understands the value of providing outstanding customer service and has excellent communication skills. Knowledge of a Hospital PAS system and the Referral to Treatment (RTT) 18 week pathway would be an advantage, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.

- Manage and support the design, development, implementation and evaluation of online training as part of a blended learning delivery.
- To work with the Digital Health Service Desk, ensuring all requests are resolved within the appointed Service Level Agreements.

- Accurately record, prioritise and update all support requests through the chosen Service Desk software, ensuring all minimum data sets are met and accurate.
