Job summary

We have embarked on a programme to implement a single Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system as part of the NHS digital health ongoing initiative across the Norfolk and Waveney Acute Hospital Collaborative (NWAHC). The collaborative is made up of three acute hospitals in Norfolk and Waveney;

The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHS Foundation Trust (QEH)

Main duties of the job

We are seeking x1 EPR Project Manager to cover the Maternity area.

The post holder will define, scope, manage and deliver the Norfolk & Waveney Acute Hospital Collaborative (N&WAHC) Electronic Patient Record (EPR) Design Build & Test (DBT) projects across three hospital Trusts using defined industry standard methodologies and best practice. Using structured methodologies, the post holder will provide project and business change management and support to the relevant Boards and Steering Groups ensuring the delivery of the required resources to the standard and quality described.

The post holder will provide support to project and service leads through a benefits and business change management process to support day to day practice, performance management and service development, facilitating, enabling, and managing the successful change elements of specific projects from within national and local digital initiatives. Taking responsibility for increasing clinical engagement and awareness of digital enabled transformation the post holder will work closely with service improvement teams and modernisation teams as a means of supporting the delivery of digital enabled benefits across the health community.

  • Extensive experience at a senior level delivering ICT enabled change projects across a wide area of applications and/or gained through working in an operational management capacity e.g. ward, department, or section leader.
  • Experience of working across organisational and professional boundaries to achieve common goals.

  • Ability to write and present accurate and concise reports to various groups at all levels and to use them to influence others at decision making levels.
