Job summary
Applications are invited for 2 prestigious posts of consultant within the Department of Radiology at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This is to support the development of a new on-site diagnostic outpatient facility comprising 5 MRIs, 4 CTs, 2 plain film rooms and 2 US rooms.
The Department forms part of one of the most dynamic University Teaching Hospitals in the country, with an excellent reputation in patient care, research and development, and staff training/education.
Main duties of the job
Key responsibilities of this post include reporting general and specialist radiology, performing image guided biopsies and drainages, and participating in MDTs, teaching and research. Applicants with any subspecialty interest will be considered but preference will be given to candidates with an interest in a cardiac imaging, chest imaging, ENT or GI subspecialties to support the anticipated workload of the new facility.
The successful candidate will be encouraged to pursue research interests in the areas of radiology and collaborative work with the University of East Anglia.
