Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital to work in the Learning and Development Department.

The successful candidate will support the smooth running of the Learning & Development department by administering and coordinating a range of training, learning and development initiatives, and providing a responsive service to our customers. The candidate will have responsibility as Personal Assistant to the Associate Director of Organisational Development & Learning.

Main duties of the job

The ideal candidate must be highly motivated; customers focused and have experience as an administrator or Personal Assistant.

You will have experience in supporting the delivery of development programmes by being an administrative lead for a range of initiatives. Be a competent IT user with the ability to maintain staff learning records on a training database.

1. To provide a comprehensive range of secretarial, clerical & administrative support to the Learning & Development team

2. Organise meetings ensuring that venues are appropriate, agendas are prepared in good time, attend meetings to take notes, type and distribute accurate minutes

3. To produce accurate letters, minutes and reports and presentations as required.

4. To act as an ambassador for the Department in the dealing with all verbal and electronic queries, including email.

5. To manage electronic diary schedules for the Head of Organisational Development & Learning, liaising with other Divisional/Corporate PAs as required.
