Job summary
Applications are invited for a fixed-term Trust Doctor (ST1/2 equivalent) post in the Accident & Emergency Department at Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
This post is 12 month fixed term contract to support individuals in their training and career aspirations with an expectation that your competencies will be reached whilst providing essential service within this fixed term period. This will be set with you at the beginning of your term with us.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder will be apart of the SHO rota and attend their departmental teaching programme sessions.
The candidate will be allocated an Educational Supervisor for their time within the department.
The candidate will be encouraged to develop a specialist interest to complement the existing interests of the department. The candidate will be expected to engage in continuing professional development, teaching, audit, and administrative duties.
Applicants must have full GMC registration with a license to practice and shall have completed a two-year foundation program or equivalent.
These appointments are to the Trust, not tospecific hospitals. Our Trust footprint currentlyincludes Cromer Hospital (25 miles from NNUH).
