Job summary
Are you looking for a new challenge? This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to join the Cardiology team as a Housekeeper.
Our department encompasses an 8 bedded Coronary Care Unit which is the PPCI Centre for Norfolk, 37 bedded acute Cardiology Ward, Cardiac Elective Area and Angiography suite. Our center provides some of the latest Cardiology interventions in our 5 Cath Labs and is involved in National and International Research projects.
The housekeeping position will be based on Kilverstone Ward and Coronary care unit, these are acute cardiology areas for the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, where as an housekeeper you will be required to help us maintain excellent infection control standards, a safe and effective clinical area for our staff and our patients.

Main duties of the job
As a housekeeper you will work closely and alongside the team which comprises of other Housekeepers, HCA's, Registered nurses as well as members of the multi-disciplinary team (Occupational Therapist and Physiotherapists) for example.
Within the cardiology department we pride ourselves on supporting colleagues therefore please note that full training and support will be given to the successful applicant.
Main job roles will include:
Maintaining high standards of infection control in all of the inpatient areas - Kilverstone and Coronary care
Ordering and stocking up supplies
Reporting faults
Admin tasks
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent communication skills with staff and patients
