Job summary

We are looking to recruit a Waiting List Coordinator predominantly for Gynaecology Oncology with a cross cover for Benign Gynaecology and C-Section waiting lists. This is a full time, permanent contract working within a small team.

You will be a conscientious and enthusiastic team player, with excellent organisational and communication skills. You will have a good understanding of the 18-week RTT pathways and the Patient Access Policy. You will need to be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of patient confidentiality.

Working hours - Monday - Friday totally at 37.5 hours per week

Main duties of the job

The post holder will provide waiting list management for the Women & Children's Services Directorate. This role relies on close working relationships with patients, consultants, secretaries, departmental staff, as well as other health care professionals, including our private provider partners. You will be required to make the necessary arrangements for diagnostic and treatment procedures for our patients, working within the Patient Access Policy and the Trust PAS User Policy.

You will be required to attend the weekly Gynaecology Oncology MDT meeting where our patients are discussed, and treatment plans agreed.
