We have embarked on a programme to implement a single Electronic Patient Record (EPR) as part of the NHS digital health ongoing initiative across the Norfolk and Waveney Acute Hospital Collaborative (NWAHC). The collaborative is made up of three acute hospitals in Norfolk and Waveney;
- James Paget University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (JPUH)
- Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (NNUH)
- The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHS Foundation Trust (QEH)

Main duties of the job
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Clinical Safety Officer or Clinician? to join our Digital Health Team as the Lead Digital Health Clinical Safety Officer. Leading our team of Clinical Safety Officers, you will play a key role in the implementation of the Trust's Digital Clinical Safety Strategy, ensuring the effective and efficient use of healthcare associated technologies to support the delivery of high quality and safe patient care.
Working in collaboration with colleagues at the James Paget University Hospitals, Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital and the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, the Lead Digital Health Clinical Safety Officer will support the development of a shared clinical safety approach, where possible, for all healthcare associated technologies and a clinical risk management plan that will underpin the development and implementation of the Electronic Patient Record (EPR) solution.
This role is essential to prioritising continuous improvements to the digital culture of the organisations. We are looking for a highly motivated leader who is flexible and will champion and support the safe implementation of all new digital solutions. As Lead Digital Health Clinical Safety Officer, you will act as a primary point of escalation, have good working knowledge and experience of clinical safety standards DCB0129 and DCB0160 and be confident providing expert best practice advice.
