Job summary

Reporting to the Head of HR Operations and Corporate Policy, you'll benefit from a supportive team, liaising with a range of colleagues across the hospital. Main duties of the job

We're proud of our diverse, international workforce and this position is key to supporting our colleagues in applying for, and maintaining their right to work. You'll take a lead role in ensuring governance in respect of the employment of overseas workers, so you'll have knowledge and experience of UKVI processes and requirements and have a structured approach to your work to ensure effective organisational assurance. You will also support managers with the recruitment of overseas workers and visa queries.

Our HR policies and procedures are vital in supporting our Trust and another key aspect of this role is to ensure these are kept updated, maintaining a database to support this and ensuring policy updates are in line with legislation, bestpractice and our PRIDE values. This will require liaison with a wide range of colleagues and our trades unions across the hospital.

You will also lead and support projects to improve the service the HR Operations team provides, organisational initiatives and provide wider support to the team as required. You will have a customer-centered approach, be a confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating initiative and the ability to manage competing demands whilst ensuring governance targets are met.
