This is an exciting opportunity to join the Norfolk & Waveney Urology Service. We are recruiting an Assistant Administration Manager to join an established team, working alongside the Administration Manager with both medical and nursing teams.

Main duties of the job

Working with the Operational Manager and Administration Manager to ensure co-ordination of all direct activity.

The post holder will be responsible for the day to day management of the administrative staff for the Directorate(s), ensuring the smooth running of the department in relation to its administration functions.

To ensure that all administrative processes run smoothly and efficiently and that all departmental processes and procedures are adhered to.

Monitor the administration needs of the Directorate Admissions and ensure that activity targets are met and that patient management is in line with the Patient Access Policy.

To work with administration/ secretarial teams, ensuring that out-patient and in-patient activity is utilised to full potential.

To support the delivery of a high quality, safe and compassionate healthcare service, all staff are expected to act as a role model to others in all aspects of their work and consistently demonstrate NNUH's 'PRIDE' values of People focused, Respect, Dedication, Integrity and Excellence.
