Job summary

Hethel ward is a busy respiratory ward specializing in care and treatment of patients experiencing a wide range of chronic and acute respiratory conditions and diagnosis. We deliver non-invasive ventilation, care for patient with chest drains and those with conditions such as Cystic Fibrosis and TB.

There is opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills through various training days.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, positive, hard working nurse to join our management team. You will be expected to help provide support to new learners whilst overseeing the delivery of high standards of nursing care.

Part time - 13.5 hours per week

Interview date - 27th March 2024

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate would be expected to manage an acute ward of patients on a daily basis, manage staff expectations, whilst ensuring patient safety. They would need to liaise with specialist departments to ensure the patient journey is appropriate and safe.

There would be opportunity to develop learning from incident investigations, be involved in change management and staff training.
