The Gynaecology Department at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital is looking forward to welcoming the next cohort of Newly Qualified Nurses for 2024. We are proud to offer for all newly qualified joining us a robust preceptorship programme supported by our excellent, friendly, and experienced Clinical Education team. Main duties of the job

All areas of our gynaecology services across the department offer huge scope for your professional development. As a Newly Qualified Nurse you will become fully integrated into the team and will be encouraged to continually develop your skills in all aspects of gynaecology.
Gynaecology incorporates; Inpatient pre and post op care, elective and emergency services, an Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit and Outpatient care services. We treat women across a broad range of specialties including Oncology, Urogynaecology, Benign Gynaecology and Early pregnancy services. Our collaborative team, care for women living in Norfolk and for those accessing specialist treatments from across the Eastern Region.
Although we encourage new staff to work across all areas of Gynaecology, please do let us know within your supporting statement if there is a particular interest in an area you wish to work in.
Your Application:

The Gynaecology department is home to:
- Outpatient services - Gynaecology Outpatient Department (GOPD)
- 16 bedded inpatient ward - Cley Ward
- Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit (EPAU)
- Emergency triage service
