Job summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals award winning Corporate Communications Team as the Communications Assistant for Internal Communications and Engagement.

Reporting to the Head of Internal and Online Communications, the successful candidate will be an experienced communications professional with exceptional skills. You will work as part of a busy communications team providing a communications service to our staff in a state-of-the-art large university hospital and other sites.

Main duties of the job

The postholder will need exceptional writing skills and will create content for all our channels - internal, external and social. You'll be creating content every day for our internal comms channels including a news service to staff, the intranet, and staff Facebook page. You'll also contribute to dealing with queries that come into the office, and provide content for the hospital magazine and photography for our stories. Aptitude for using software including for updating our website and intranet are also essential.

This role reports to the Head of Internal and Online Communications.
