We are excited to be recruiting a Programme Support Officer into the transformative Norfolk and Waveney Diagnostic Assessment Centres (DAC) Programme. The Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital working in conjunction with the neighbouring Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King's Lynn and James Paget university Hospital in Great Yarmouth in an exciting partnership with the East of England Imaging Academy have collaborated to develop 3 amazing new build, Diagnostic Imaging facilities, one for each of the acute trusts.

As Programme Support Officer you will help build this transformational joint venture which has been designed to address growing demand now and in the future across the region. From these fantastic new facilities, there will be an increased focus on providing superb patient care offering a dedicated outpatient imaging facility to support delivery of faster, common patient pathways.

The successful applicant for Programme Support Officer will be an integral part of the largest Norfolk and Waveney (N&W) ICS investment in recent years and finding the right person to support driving this investment and project forward is essential.

The ideal candidate would have experience of providing high quality project administrative support, collecting and analysing complex data and both writing and presenting accurate and concise reports.

Main duties of the job

As the DAC Programme Support Officer, you will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the programme office and act as the point of contact for enquiries from the project teams, as well as leading on specific service developments within the programme.

Working on a nationally recognised £85.9m transformation programme, the largest capital investment in the N&W ICS in the last 20 years.

Acting as a point of contact for the DAC Operation Lead.

Working in a fun and dynamic, multi-trust programme.

  • To provide direct support to the Commercial Projects Manager in all aspect of the Trust major strategic projects and programmes and to support the programme office and programme teams to develop and implement project data collections systems that will provide accurate and timely data
  • To provide administrative support to the Programme Management Office, as required.
  • To work autonomously to within their project area
  • Leading on specific service developments
  • To support the development, implementation and monitoring of the Trust major strategic projects and programmes; supporting planning workshops, developing work breakdown structures and establishing projects governance, management structures and monitoring.
  • To be responsible for regular project meetings and reporting cycles, including organising meetings, preparing agendas, circulating papers and taking/distributing minutes, updating project plans, action logs and risk/issues registers in a timely manner.
  • Perform effective version control management for all documentation produced by project management tasks and work stream outputs, maintaining necessary programme documentation; including business cases, project initiation documents, risk registers, action logs and schedules, within the programme repository and ensuring all products and reports are fit for purpose providing reliable, accurate and timely information
