This role will be working on a rotational basis. Gastroenterology August - December, Diabetes & Endocrinology December - April, General Surgery April - August. Please see Job Description for further information.

Qualifications

Essential

• Full or Provisional GMC Registration

Aptitudes

Essential

• Good communicator
• Capable of working in a multi-disciplinary team
• Enthusiasm for service development and teaching

Desirable

• Previous participation in audit/service improvement

Experience

Essential

• Experience of working in hospital medicine - internal/general medicine.

Desirable

• Six months NHS experience
• Experience in specified field of medicine within the rotations available

Interests

Essential

• Commitment to develop an appropriate special interest

Circumstances

Essential

• Flexible outlook on working hours.
• Must live within a 15-mile radius of the base Trust or 30 minutes travelling time.

Communication and Language Skills

Essential

• Ability to communicate effectively with clinical colleagues and support staff
• Ability to present effectively to an audience, using a variety of methods, and to respond to questions and queries

Desirable

• Good presentation skills.
