About us
The NNUH is the fifth largest volume aortic aneurysm centre in the UK (according to the latest Vascular Society figures). We perform over 150 AAA repairs per year. We have expanded our endovascular practice significantly in the last few years and currently are performing 1-3 FEVARS/BEVARS per month and at least 2 EVARS a week. We are heading to a standard of care of percutaneous EVAR's and 24 hour discharge. We currently use a wide range of endovascular grafts (Cook, Terumo Aortic, Gore and Medtronic) and also perform 5-10 TEVARS a year. In addition we perform a large number of open AAA repairs - an area where experience is becoming increasingly difficult to gain.
