Job summary
We are currently looking for a Full Time, Substantive Specialty Doctor based in the department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.
Main duties of the job
You will work closely with our senior clinical team and benefit from their experience and knowledge allowing you to expand your own clinical experience every day.
Applicants must have full GDC registration with a licence to practise.
About us
The Oral Health department is situated within the modern facilities of the NNUH. We benefit from 3 oral surgery rooms, a dedicated 4 bed recovery ward, 3 clinic rooms as well as a further 6 surgeries used for orthodontic and restorative work. There is a full maxillofacial laboratory within the department. A full range of OMFS services are provided including deformity, salivary, trauma and head and neck. We are well supported by a good management and secretarial team.
The Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital has 1000 beds and serves a population of over 700,000. The hospital is adjacent to the University of East Anglia, the Medical School established in 2002 and the world renowned Norwich Research Park. This ensures that our staff have unqualified access to research development and opportunities for under and post graduate teaching.
