Consultant Psychiatrist

Job summary

North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare are looking to recruit a full time Consultant Psychiatrist. The Job Description is subject to Royal College approval.

On a day to day basis the consultant psychiatrist will be in a close working relationship with the local management structure, particularly the Team Leader.

You will have a close working relationship on clinical matters with other CMHT's in the delivery of clinical care and local primary care services.

On a more strategic level you will relate to the Clinical Director and other service clinical directors and the Chief Medical Officer.

From an overall professional perspective you will relate to the Chief Medical Officer.

You will ultimately be responsible within the Trust to the Chief Executive.

Main duties of the job

This is a full time post in the General Psychiatry within the Community Mental Health Directorate based at the Sutherland Centre, Belgrave, Road, Stoke on Trent.
