Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and organised individual become the Team Lead for our CAST Team.

CAST support individuals with complex emotional needs including providing both Structured Clinical Management (SCM) and Mentalisation Based Therapy (MBT).

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will work closely with the MDT including psychology, psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, assistant psychologists and administrators in order to provide excellent, safe and effective care for our client group.

Essential

  • Must have qualification in one of the following RMN, Social Work Degree/DIPSW, OT (2)
  • Evidence of professional development.

Desirable

  • A Post Registration qualification or degree in relevant subject area.

Experience

Essential

  • Substantial experience of working within mental health.
  • Demonstrate both managerial and clerical skills in previous post.

Desirable

  • Experience in working in an Adult Personality Disorder Service

Knowledge

Essential

  • Excellent decision making and problem solving skills
  • The ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, information to clients, their families, carers and other professionals both within and outside the NHS
