Job summary
We are seeking an International Recruitment Nurse Education Facilitator for this band 6 full time role. (subject to banding).
You will be responsible for developing and implementing an educational program to support international nurses to successfully complete their International English language test system (IELETS), competency based tests (CBT) and Objective structured clinical exams (OSCEs) as required for successful registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
Main duties of the job
- To develop and manage the on-boarding, induction, education, practice and professional development of internationally recruited registered nurses
- To act as a role model of exemplar practice at all times
- Support and participate in international recruitment events as required
- Work alongside the Pastoral Care Facilitators to provide social and emotional support to the newly recruited registered international nurses and assist with their integration into the Trust workforce and social integration into the local communities.
- Implement peer support arrangements to support the internationally recruited nurses to adapt to the cultural and working differences of the NHS
- To work collaboratively across the Trust's to share best practice and support international recruitment and overseas staff from other professional groups
- To work collaboratively across the ICS to support the international recruitment of nurses and any emerging local, national initiatives.

- Previous experience of working at Band 6 level in a pressured working environment with ever changing priorities Experience of supporting learning and development in practice
Desirable
- Previous experience of teaching or delivering OSCE program of work or similar
- Knowledge of NHS Employers Pre Employment Check Standards including immigration legislation, sponsorship requirements and safeguarding
