The Older Peoples service line on the Community Directorate are looking to recruit a B5 Assistant Information Officer. The post is full time and permanent.
The Older Peoples teams are a vibrant and busy environment supported by a multi-disciplinary team. The teams are embarking on a challenging journey of change and developing clinical pathways, the appointed individual will need to be innovative, compassionate, and motivated, in making a positive contribution to service development.
The successful candidate will assist in the development and production of reports across the clinical pathways, provide specialist knowledge in relation to Health data intelligence; provide and receive complex information and be responsible for proactive data quality measures
Main duties of the job
- The Assistant Information Officer is a key member of the Older Adult Teams.
- Has operational responsibility for secretarial/admin staff and reception to facilitate the smooth and efficient running of the service.
- To provide expert performance and management information; analysis and interpretation;
- To assist, in the development and production of reports across clinical pathways;
- Provide specialist knowledge in relation to Health data intelligence; provide and receive complex information;

- Responsible for proactive data quality measures - weekly data cleansing and data analysis;
- Maintain and develop data quality and reporting services via regular meetings, audits and training.
- Maintaining, documenting and testing data quality measures and reporting systems in line with requirements and the KPIs of the service;
- Manage and co-ordinate Older Adult Teams administration, dealing appropriately with confidential and urgent information, exercising good analytical skills and sound judgement.
