Bank Assistant Technical Officer - Band 2 (0hrs contract)
We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated Assistant Technical Officer (ATO) with excellent communication skills to join our friendly supportive team.
We offer in house training for all areas of our service and are keen to provide developmental opportunities to enable you to realise your full potential.
Our current opening hours are 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday. You may be required to work on occasional bank holidays and weekends to ensure continuity of health care.
Please note - this position is available as a bank contract; 0hrs per week to cover annual leave and sickness as and when required.

Main duties of the job
The Pharmacy Team is a progressive and patient focussed department that has an excellent reputation in the Trust. The post is based in the Pharmacy department at Harplands Hospital. Duties include:
- Assisting in the supply of prescribed items - ensuring that patient confidentiality is maintained at all times
- Dispensing prescribed items - selecting the medicine from stock ensuring that the medicine matches the prescription and is in date
- Creation and receipt of orders - creating orders from the dispensary to Pharmacy Stores
- Carrying out pharmacy top ups on wards - To visit the ward as required and check stocks against a pre-printed stock list. To process the order on return to the Pharmacy and record issues using the computer system, or pass to other members of the team.
- Helping clients to resolve queries and complaints - Take action to resolve the query/complaint in line with SOPs and organisational policies for customer service
