Job summary

We are seeking a Joiner to join us full-time working 37.5 hours per week.

Band 4 - £25,147 - £27,596 per annum.

You will be providing a technical and manual service in maintaining the structure, services, plant and equipment in buildings on behalf of the EMT customer base. You will be responsible for ensuring that day to day maintenance tasks are recognised and completed within a satisfactory timescale.

Main duties of the job

Must possess a clear understanding of all types of building fabric systems currently in operation in Healthcare type premises. Must be able to work in accordance with Health & Safety Regulations, relevant (HTM's) (Hospital Technical Memorandum). Undertake craft duties and associated works, including all aspects of repair, maintenance and new works within the NHSCHT estate. Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance on all types of building, fabric, plant and equipment. To install, maintain, valid and problem solve on all types of Building plant and equipment in accordance with the manufacturers' instructions and any relevant regulations.
