North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare NHS Trust has exciting opportunities available for Health Care Support Workers within our Acute In-patient; Community; Neuro Psychiatry, Old Age Psychiatry, Learning Disabilities and Children's services who wish to work within our Temporary Bank Service.

Main duties of the job

Joining the Bank provides an excellent opportunity for those who wish to gain insight and experience into diverse areas whilst providing you with the flexibility to choose your own working hours. It can also provide the opportunity to gain experience with the Trust as a precursor to permanent employment.

  • Advanced Apprenticeship in (Mental) Health and Social Care OR NVQ 2 or 3 in (Mental) Health and Social Care with demonstrable evidence of numeracy and literacy skills (equivalent GCSE's or Functional Skills) OR Certificate in Community Mental Health OR Care Certificate

Experience

Essential

  • Experience of working with people with Mental Health Needs as a member of a multi-disciplinary team or experience of being a service user or carer.

Desirable

  • Experience of being a service user or carer

Knowledge and Skills
