Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity to join our developing adult eating disorder service. We are looking for confident clinical staff looking to develop their scope of practice and therapeutic skills by joining our team. Excellent induction and training opportunities available to help the successful applicant with professional development. Successful applicants will have a strong clinical background with excellent assessment, risk management, care co-ordination and clinical decision making skills. The treatment for eating disorders is based in psychological therapies and a willingness to develop skills in order to provide these interventions is with appropriate coaching and supervision from the team is essential.
SAEDS seeks to provide a high quality service to ensure that clients receive their care by the right person in the right place at the right time, supported by NICE guidance. Enhancing education, prevention, early intervention and strengthened pathways.
We are looking for a self-motivated, organised individual who is committed to the their role promoting the principles and practice of recovery is able to provide specialist eating disorder therapies as recommended by NICE guidelines and act as care co-ordinator where appropriate. If you have experience in leading, working in community settings and working collaboratively across teams you may be the person we are looking for.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a self-motivated, organised individual who is committed to the their role promoting the principles and practice of recovery and is able to provide specialist Enhanced Cognitive behaviour Therapy (CBT-e) and Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) models of treatment, supervise therapists and act as care co-ordinator. If you have experience in leading, working in community settings and working collaboratively across teams you may be the person we are looking for.
