Main duties of the job
- This exciting opportunity would be perfect for an enthusiastic midwife/nurse, who will work alongside our clinicians, managers and service users to ensure there is a robust approach to monitoring and improving patient safety, clinical effectiveness, patient experience, and risk.
- The role involves leading the day-to-day governance activity, which includes; guideline development, clinical audit, review of clinical incidents, alongside clinicians to help identify lessons learnt.
- The Directorate Governance team has undergone significant investment to support the Trust in achieving national requirements in Perinatal, Gynaecology and Paediatric outpatient services.
- There will be significant peer support available within the team for the successful candidate.
