Come and join the fantastic Ultrasound Radiology team here at GEH. The prospective candidate will work within a multi-disciplinary team consisting of Radiologists, Sonographers and RDA's
They will use their experience in health care to run lists alongside Consultants and Radiographers, as well as assisting with all manner of procedures including Biopsies, FNA's and intimate procedures.
It is anticipated that this role will continue to develop through the acquisition of further skill, knowledge and competence to be determined within the service.
The Ultrasound RDA will be directly responsible for the safe completion of delegated duties and assisted patient care.
Main duties of the job
- Assist in the care of patients each shift under the supervision of a Sonographer/Consultant.
- Assist in the delivery of clinical care and associated activities, in line with appropriate standards and guidelines.
- To assist in the booking of ultrasound examinations supporting the booking team.
- Venepuncture / Cannulation procedures.
