Are you an experienced cardiac nurse looking for a new challenge?

A rare and exciting secondment opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Sister/Charge Nurse to join our team on Coronary Care / Cardiology Ward at George Eliot Hospital.

Main duties of the job

  • The post holder is accountable for clinical leadership on CCU ward through effective monitoring and implementation of standards and evidenced based practice; ensuring patients receive safe, high-quality care.
  • The post holder will provide direct Support to the Ward Manger and clinical nursing teams.
  • The post holder will effectively manage resources within their area and drive improvements based on evidence-based practice.
  • The post holder will respond to, identify, escalate, and make recommendations for changes within the clinical environment.
