Main duties of the job
- To provide a food and beverage service to patients
- Be responsible for the provision of a high quality food and beverage service at ward level, using an electronic menu ordering system.
- To regenerate food, maintaining appropriate temperature records.
- To comply with the requirements of Food Hygiene and Health and Safety legislation and local guidelines.
- Be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of the patient ward kitchen, equipment and serving area.
- Be responsible for ordering adequate provisions for the ward kitchen and maintain appropriate records relating to stock control.
