Salary: £46,148 - £52,809 per annum (Dependant on experience)
Contract Type: Fixed Term (18 months)

Main duties of the job
- Manages caseload on an ongoing basis including making modifications within prescribed parameters reporting back to the Consultant.
- Autonomously performs specialist nurse procedures in line with Trust protocols and NMC guidance.
- Provides advice in relation to the care of individual or groups of patients.
- Responsible for the effective management of allocated resources.
- Responsible for procurement and maintenance of physical assets and supplies for the service.
- Demonstrates best practice and relevant knowledge of the NHS and modernisation agenda, seeking to develop the service as part of the professional team.
- Contributes to the development of the corporate nursing strategy ensuring local action plans produced, implemented and evaluated.
- Represents the Trust at external events, networking with professional colleagues to maximise the opportunities of promoting the Trust and benchmarking practice with peers.
- Involvement in Clinical Audit:
- 24 our GP notification audit.
- 25 Appropriateness & timeliness of urgent suspect cancer referrals. Assist in the gathering of information for ongoing audit projects.
- Ensuring that all patients have a key worker.
- Co-ordination of patient's pathway.
- Monitoring of MDT standards in conjunction with MDT co-ordinator.
- Implementing evidence-based practice.
- Request and track relevant investigations post MDT once appropriately trained to do so.
- Develop nursing services within the team.
