Job Title: Resourcing Assistant (Recruitment)
Hours per week: 37.5 hours per week, with occasional weekends and evenings to support with recruitment events
Salary: £24,071 - £25,674 per annum, pro rata
Perm/Fixed term: Permanent

This role needs an enthusiastic individual who is highly organised and able to work at a fast pace on a number of priorities at the same time, to provide administrative support to recruiting managers, candidates and the resourcing team. It is a great opportunity for someone who wants to get exposure to inhouse recruitment in a busy environment.
Administrative experience is needed, and we would love it if you have experience of using social media to attract talent, however if you don't feel you meet all the essential criteria for the role get in contact with me for an informal conversation or to ask any questions.

Main duties of the job
Our resourcing team is responsible for facilitating the end-to-end recruitment process of every new starter joining the Trust.
Our Resourcing Assistants should have friendly and helpful customer service skills, as you will be answering calls and email queries daily.
You need to be able to manage your time effectively and support the recruitment journey from the moment a vacancy arises to when the successful candidate starts in post.
This is a demanding but rewarding role where although some tasks are routine, others will require you to use your problem solving skills.
You should be able to prioritise your tasks and have good attention to detail because of the nature of the information you will be dealing with.
You will need to have demonstrable experience of using MS Office applications such as Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
You will also use our social media platforms on a regular basis to attract and engage candidates to our roles and as resourcing is fast paced, you definitely need a positive, solution focused attitude!

- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders
- Prepare and issue conditional offer letters and contracts
- Initiate and carry out all pre-employment checks in compliance with NHS Employers and Home Office standards, with a good understanding of ID and Right To Work Checks
- Carry out any additional checks which have been locally agreed to expedite recruitment e.g. risk assessments
- Assist in the administration and coordination of Medical recruitment panel
- Support the pre-employment checks for rotational doctors
- Update and use the TRAC system to advertise vacancies and progress candidates through the recruitment journey (Automated Tracking System)
- Update and use ESR (Electronic Staff Records)
- Advertise vacancies across a variety of platforms including Social Media
- To act as a first point of contact for all Resourcing queries via the helpdesk and resourcing email inbox
- Actively follow up and keep recruiting managers and applicants informed of progress of the time to hire process
- Ensure new starter documentation is checked for accuracy, and work with candidates to resolve any queries
- Represent the Trust at internal and external careers and recruitment events which may take place outside of normal working hours
- Provide administration support to adhoc projects or processes
- Have a good understanding of Agenda for Change Terms and Conditions of Service, Medical and Dental Terms and Conditions, Trust policy and procedures;
- To contribute to the on-going review and improvement of Resourcing processes to enhance the candidate experience
