Main duties of the job
Encompassing the NHS people plan to our everyday working lives, applicants will be expected to be able to:
- Act as a strategic Business Partner to designated Directorates, developing a thorough understanding of the business plans and people plans to ensure that their workforce requirements are identified, planned and delivered on a timely basis
- Forming strong relationships with the Triumvirates within the Directorate to understand the needs of the business and supporting the achievement of workforce KPI's
- Influence and drive business thinking and develop People approaches that support operational business objectives, organisational design and resource plans
- Develop the management capability of Line Managers by coaching and equipping them with the knowledge and skills to handle employee management responsibilities in line with the Trust's strategic direction
- Act as an advocate of change and champion 'change' for the Trust by educating, informing and coaching employees and Managers where appropriate
- Forming strong working relationships with Key stakeholders including trade union colleagues freedom to speak up guardian and wellbeing
- Being a key representative from the People & workforce Department supporting both the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Forum sand Health and Wellbeing Initiatives at the Trust
