Job Title: Pharmacy Technician - Ward Based Technical Services
Hours per week: 37.5 hours (rotational late night, weekend and bank holiday working)
Salary :£28,407 to £34,581 per annum

Main duties of the job
This post will involve working on the wards taking drug histories, assessment of Patient Own Drugs (PODs), One Stop Dispensing (OSD), patient counselling and helping expedite discharge.
Other duties may include ward temperature monitoring, medicine management audits, reviewing the usage of controlled drugs, dispensing and assessing drugs for return and working in the dispensary. You will also be required to provide rotational support to our outsourced outpatient pharmacy when required.
The successful candidate will need to have at least 2 years hospital experience as a qualified pharmacy technician and have experience working in medicines management.
An 'Accredited Checker Technician' qualification or working towards is required.
