Applications are invited from experienced, flexible Dental Nurses who hold the National Certificate in Dental Nursing or NVQ level 3 in Oral Healthcare and hold at least one additional post-certification qualification in NVQ Level 3 in Oral Healthcare, Certificate in Special Care Dentistry, Certificate in Sedation, Radiography, Certificate in Oral Health Promotion, We are also keen to candidates who holds a qualification certification/diploma in Health Promotion or a teaching qualification
We are recruiting to a full time position but willing to discuss a 30 hours working week. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required for this post. Main duties of the job
You will be the Team Leader and work with the teams in the dental clinics throughout the week.
You must be able to show experience of working at a Band 5 level Team Leader level. You will have countywide responsibility for the oral health promotion function, which will have a requirement to travel around the county and work with/train multiple stakeholders (including in early years settings, and older adult care settings), and lead oral health promotion initiatives and campaigns.
To support Clinicians in the specialist Dental Service to provide high quality dental care for a wide range of patients with complex specialist needs, including medically compromised conditions, tolerance and access difficulties.
