Main duties of the job
We are looking for band 5 Paediatric trained nurses or students due to qualify to join our enthusiastic and friendly unit and become part of our supportive family. This is an exciting time and a great opportunity to join our dedicated team.
The post holder should have excellent communication skills and be keen to promote clinical excellence within our team.
We are dedicated to supporting the development of our paediatric nurses within our service and offer continuing professional development including PILS/APLS, Venepuncture and cannulation and progression to Band 6.
We provide all new starters with a robust induction programme and we have Practice Development Nurse on hand providing 1 -1 teaching and support in identifying your professional development needs. You will have a supernumerary period on commencing the post.
Paediatric Nursing is varied and extremely rewarding. Working with us will provide both newly qualified and experienced nurses with a broad range of skills and experiences which will help in your career progression.
