Job summary
The post holder will work as an integral part of the respiratory team to provide clinical expertise, specialist advice, and support for patients with a wide range of lung conditions.The post holder will be required to have a general respiratory knowledge with the ability to adapt to the needs of the service.The post will be predominantly outpatient based and will:
Provide highly specialised assessment, treatment and care within the outpatient setting to those patients with chronic and acute respiratory conditions using advanced clinical knowledge that is evidence-based.
Will function independently or within the clinical team and will demonstrate competency complementary to the consultant's role in the delivery of healthcare.
Will provide a high level of professional autonomy, expert advice and support, ensuring the needs of the patients are met by leading, challenging, and changing practice within the clinical setting.
Main duties of the job
