Health Care Support Worker - Ophthalmology

Job summary

An opportunity has become available for a Band 3 Health Care Support Workers to support the existing Multidisciplinary team in Ophthalmology outpatients with rotation to Ophthalmology theatres, as you build and develop competencies within the dept.

The role within Ophthalmology is an area where you can learn a variety of new specialised skills to support our patients.

Main duties of the job

The HCSW role within Ophthalmology will involve care of patients whilst they attend ophthalmology outpatients, eye casualty, day case and theatres.

The role supports the multidisciplinary team by obtaining a variety of ophthalmology specialised observations , patient observations, whilst supporting the through put of patients in a variety of areas.

it is essential the candidate has access to a car as we work off site in the community hospital settings - Leominster, Bromyard and Ross.
