We are looking for a Podiatrist to join our small committed Community team in beautiful Herefordshire. If you you are seeking a diverse and interesting job alongside green space in which to live and work this opportunity could be the very thing.

Our Community Podiatry service runs clinics at sites across Herefordshire, the main clinical base in Hereford city.

Candidates should be enthusiastic, flexible and highly motivated Podiatrists with the ability to work in a wide range of clinical settings - clinics. We are looking for someone who would like to build their skills within in a range of specialist podiatry clinics in nail surgery, MSK Podiatry and Diabetes across Herefordshire. You will have the opportunity to link and with with our acute diabetic foot team and our podiatric surgical colleagues.

Management of a domiciliary caseload is required

Part time work will be considered and informal enquiry and visits are welcomed

Main duties of the job

Provide assessment, diagnosis and treatment, including patient education, for conditions of the foot and related structures to improve mobility, reduce pain and maintain tissue viability

Provide a Podiatry service for patients with complex pathologies of the foot with a range of often coexisting medical, long term conditions including Diabetes.

To fully assess, differentially diagnose and clinically manage patients, devising, implementing and delivering care packages and taking responsibility for individual patient discharge.
