Job summary
We are looking to welcome a motivated, dynamic and experienced Resourcing Team Leader to join our dedicated recruitment team for a full time secondment or fixed term opportunity for 6 months. The post holder will be committed to providing exceptional service to recruiting managers and candidates and will be motivated to help us achieve our recruitment goals.
The Resourcing Team Leader will be responsible for delivering a proactive, timely, and effective recruitment service.
This role will involve building strong working relationships with recruiting managers and candidates to reduce vacancies and time to hire.
The successful candidate will provide operational line management to a team of Resourcing Administrators, leading them to support the trust's business objectives and deliver on the recruitment and retention strategy, whilst promoting a strong customer focused environment. This includes identifying the recruitment needs of WVT departments and managing team performance to meet national targets for time to hire.
Main duties of the job
To support, lead, and effectively manage the resourcing team, creating an environment through which the team continuously improves and strives to provide an excellent service.
To support the team in their efforts to deliver tangible improvements in the quality of the service offered in line with trust objectives.
To support the trust's management divisions in achieving the business objectives and the recruitment and retention strategy, whilst promoting a strong customer focused environment.
To create and instil a proactive approach, dealing with escalated and complex queries when required.

- Educated to degree level/or equivalent experience
- Part CIPD qualified (Level 5) or working towards Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel & Development with equivalent knowledge and experience
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
Essential
- Proven experience of report writing and producing reports
- Previous experience of working within a recruitment team
- Experience of using computerised and web based HR information systems, e.g. ESR, DBS (Criminal record Bureau), Trac, NHS Jobs and website
- Broad knowledge of pre-employment checks, including UKVI, home office and legal requirements
