An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Dermatology Surgical Practitioner to join our dynamic specialist nursing team at Goal Street Skin Centre in Herefordshire.

Come and join the BMJ Dermatology Team of the year 2021 in Hereford! Our bespoke, newly refurbished dermatology department with onsite surgical rooms is situated in the heart of Hereford City. Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will ideally work 37.5h/week as part of the multidisciplinary with the aim of:

  • Providing support and guidance to inpatient and outpatient services in order to ensure high quality care and best practice and develop clear pathways for complex surgical patients alongside the dermatology and plastics lead clinicians
  • Developing strategies and policies for local service development
  • Maintaining a complex clinical case load including pre and post-operative patients and complex wound management
  • Providing professional and managerial leadership to the surgical CNS/Nursing team
  • Determining the effective use of resources implementing new initiatives where possible
  • Nurturing collaboration and shared decision making

  • Masters level qualification in relevant specialism or relevant equivalent experience
