Job summary

This is an exciting opportunity for an Band 3 Assistant Medical Secretary to join the ENT department within the Head, Neck and Orthopaedic Directorate.

This post is 22 hours per week, across the days of Monday to Friday, working within core office hours. Days and hours are negotiable and flexible to suit the successful candidate.

We are looking someone who enjoys a challenge and is used to working in a busy environment. You must be able to work on your own initiative and have excellent prioritisation, organisational and interpersonal skills.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will require excellent organisational skills, demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a time, using their own initiative and be will to be adaptable and flexible to meet the needs of the service.

Due to the nature of this role, we are looking for candidates who hold previous experience within the ENT department over the past 12 months.

  • GCSEs in English and Mathematics or equivalent
