This exciting new job role in Neonatal and Woman's services will allow you to develop your skills and take part in exciting service development projects.
Prior experience within Neonatal and Woman's Services is not essential as you will receive training in this specialist area and be supported by the Senior Pharmacist for Neonatal and Woman's Services. We are looking for a motivated pharmacist who is keen to learn, develop and work in a rewarding area. You have the opportunity to develop your practice, with the support of our senior pharmacists and our principal pharmacist for education and training.
Main duties of the job
To work closely under the supervision of the Senior Pharmacist Neonates and Woman's services in the delivery of clinical pharmacy services to the directorate.
To undergo supportive training package gaining experience in providing a clinical pharmacy service to the neonatal intensive care and high dependency units.
Provide clinical pharmaceutical services, including reviewing prescriptions, dispensing, and patient counselling within Neonatal and Women's services promoting the safe and secure use of medicines.
To gain experience under the supervision of the Senior Pharmacists for Children's services in provision of clinical pharmacy to paediatric inpatients, to provide support in their absence.
