With full funding available, you can study for the BSc Hons/Post Graduate Diploma in Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (SCPHN) (Health Visitor) starting September 2025, in partnership with the University of Wolverhampton.

Main duties of the job
As a Student Health Visitor, you will: Engage in training to complete the BSc (Hons) Degree/Postgraduate Diploma in Specialist Community Public Health (SCPHN - Health Visiting) .
Balance50% theoretical learning with 50% hands-on practical experience in community health settings .
Work within a multidisciplinary team, liaising with Health Visitors, Public Health Associates, Administration Officers, patients, carers, and other professionals
Carry out clinical duties, supporting families and delivering essential public health services
Gain exposure to mandated Health Visitor contacts, ensuring seamless progression to the Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) SCPHN training in Health Visiting
We are looking for? A motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nurse or Midwife passionate about child and family health ? Excellent teamwork and communication skills, enabling collaboration within the Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust ? Commitment to training, learning, and making a lasting impact on community health ? A valid driver's license and daily access to a car for travel within Wolverhampton
