Job summary

You will be highly motivated, conscientious and an organised nurse with the ability to be efficient in a busy clinical environment. An individual who is enthusiastic about improving patient care and is willing to go the extra mile to ensure our patients' receive the highest quality care. You will be joining a proactive and supportive team who work closely with the lead TB Consultants and pride themselves on their high quality care. Our job would provide predictable weekday hours and could be tailored to provide flexibility within the week if required.

You will be expected to travel and engage with our local community and support the management of our patients within their homes, clinics and also offering specialist support at our acute hospital New Cross Hospital.

Main duties of the job

Case management for TB Cases.

Conduct TB Nurse Led Clinic's : Mantoux/BCG, TB contact screening Active and latent TB and new entrant screening

Attend MDT and complex meetings.

Provide specialist advise to patients carer's and health professionals.

Practice within scope of personal professional competence.

Day to day supervision/training of staff/students.

Support the TB Lead Nurse in innovative and proactive approaches to the redesign of clinical services, linked to organisational priorities and in support of improved outcome.
