Job summary
Are you interested in starting an administration career in healthcare by joining an expanding Radiology department?

We are looking for a team member to support our PACS service within Radiology.
Suitable candidates will need to be highly motivated and want to be part of a dedicated team. You must have 4 GCSE or equivalent qualifications (including English language) and an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Business Administration. Good computer skills are essential and previous experience in a healthcare environment is desirable. Excellent interpersonal skills and strong patient focus are also required.
The standard roster will be 7.5 hours per day, 5 days per week, but some flexibility will be required. This may include earlies, lates and weekends.

Main duties of the job
The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trusts Radiology Department is a thriving, innovative, integral service. You will be required to undertake the importing, exporting and data transfer of images (via an electronic link and CD's) stored on the PACS system, and all associated administrative duties.
This role requires you to be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, ensuring vital images are available for discussion at Multi-disciplinary Team Meetings. Applicants will need to be proficient in monitoring and reporting on the Trust and Departmental targets surrounding 62-day target and 6 week waiting times.
General clerical, reception, and booking of appointments for the Ultrasound, CT, MRI, Screening & Plain Film services are also an integral aspect of the post.
Participation in a Bank Holiday rota is a requirement of the post.
