Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager the Digital Programme Team on a fixed term basis at the Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust. This role will support the Digital Programme Team through implementation of for an exciting new Digital Transformation Project for replacement of the Patient Administration System and implementation of Electronic Medical Record.We are looking for a candidate with a passion for technology/digital working to improve patient care and outcomes. The role involves working within a Health Informatics environment and will be responsible for supporting business change working within teams for the full project life cycle from design to implementation for replacement of the Patient Administration System and implementation of Electronic Medical Record.The post holder will perform a key role in the implementation for the Trusts Digital Programme, providing leadership by identifying system usage and promoting the Programme via effective communication and ensuring a conduit exists between the Programme and the operational teams.You will be the 'go to' person ensuring that the system design meets the requirements and achieves its key goal of improving productivity, sharing of information and improving patient outcomes.The right candidate will be innovative and identify opportunities to develop, ensuring that we improve the overall digital maturity of the Trust and whilst standards of clinical safety are maintained throughout.
Main duties of the job
As a Project Manager you will work as part of a friendly and established team and your role will engage with a wide range of senior clinical stakeholders.
To be responsible for the overall project management of a range of projects involving changes or developments to ways of working within the Trust.
Supports, facilitates and monitors project progress within and across site(s)
To work closely with the Programme Manager and operational teams to identify and manage the dependencies that will have an impact on delivery.
The ability to communicate at all levels within the organisation including clinical, clerical and management staff and ability to work within challenging schedules is equally critical.
